Using Mobile in your Classroom: Enhance Learning, Minimize Distractions | Brian Geislinger

About the Webinar:

Opportunities for distraction in college classrooms for students—especially in 2019—are plentiful. Social media, cat memes and short attention spans all contribute to the problem. Join veteran iClicker user and Physics instructor, Dr. Brian Geislinger, as he talks about the importance of minimizing distractions in the classroom and learn how he works to manage them—and increase engagement—in his own classroom.

About Brian Geislinger

After earning his PhD in Physics from UAB, Brian Geislinger has taught Physics and Astronomy at Gadsden State Community College for the past 10 years. And while he has taught in large lecture halls, Gadsden State is a smaller community college with class sizes rarely over 30 students. In his time at the college, Brian has been recognized with a number of awards for innovation both in teaching and for the use of technology in his classroom.
